Welcome to my personal academic page!
I’m Etevaldo Costa, a final-year PhD student in Physics at the University of Aveiro in Portugal and a member of the Gr@v group. I completeted my MSc at the Universidade de São Paulo and my BSc at the Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, Brasil.
I am interested in general questions in theoretical physics, from non-topological solitons to black holes in strong gravity regimes, from both mathematical and physical perspectives. I have extensive experience in numerical methods for elliptic PDEs and primarily a finite difference method solver, but I’m also familiar with shooting, spectral methods…
If you find anything that piques your interest, why not invite me for a coffee? I’m always open to discussing new ideas, starting collaborations, or just chatting about our common interests.
Thank you for visiting!
